Search and Recovery
Have you lost something of value in a body of water? Would you like to try to get it back? If so contact us. We have been providing search and recovery services for several years on the Susquehanna River. Due to the nature of these requests we ask that you contact us directly for a free quote, send a email to info@getintoscuba.com.
What information should I have when I contact you?
- Description of the item. (size, shape, weight and value)
- Location where the item was lost, be able to show us where the item sank.
- Date and time the item was lost.
- Depth the item was lost in.
What items do you not recover?
- Weapons used in crimes (We are not certified at the current time to preserve crime scenes. We will however work with a police department to put on a search)
- Bodies (we do not have the means for proper body recovery, however we will work with local law enforcement agencies to assist in searching)
- Chemicals or Drugs

What if you don’t find my item?
Though we have a very good success rate many factors can effect our ability to find a item. All fees when contract is signed are non refundable. This means if your item is not found there will be no refund given as it cost us time, equipment, and travel to preform the search and recovery. With this being said we will give it our all with in the time windows contracted for.
What methods do you use?
Depending on the item size and the material it is made of we can try several search and recovery methods. This can include dragging with specialized magnets and or running under water search patterns.
What gear do you have at your disposal?
- We have a boat that can into very shallow spots at an additional cost of $125.00 per day
- Specialized magnets for dragging the bottom.
- Underwater metal detectors at additional cost of $200.00 per day.
