PADI Discover Scuba Diving
What is it?
Have you ever wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater. If you want to find out but aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, Discover Scuba Diving will let you try scuba to see if you like it.
What will you experience and learn?
While not an actual scuba certification, during the Discover Scuba Diving experience you’ll learn how to use scuba equipment in shallow water under a PADI professionals direct supervision and get a quick and easy introduction to what it takes to explore the underwater world.
- Learn basic skills and safety rules
- Experience breathing underwater
- See what it is like to wear and use dive gear.
- Experience weightlessness as you swim underwater
What do you need?
- A willingness to learn
- Be open to trying new and exciting things
- Be at least 10 years old.
- Signing of liability wavier
What is provided?
- A certified PADI Professional to instruct and supervise you during your experience.
- A full set of rental scuba equipment to be used during the class.
What does it cost?
Cost of this experience is $60.00. This includes everything required to take part of this experience. Upon completion of the course it will give you credit towards confined water dive 1 in your open water certification.
